Orgasm is the climax of a sexual intercourse. Anorgasmia is a state of sexual dysfunction where an individual constantly fails to achieve orgasm. It results in sexual frustration personal distress. Inability to orgasm can sometimes be so frustrating that it affects your relationship. There are changes in the orgasm due to age, medical issues and medications.
Symptoms of Anorgasmia
Delayed ejaculation signifies Anorgasmia is men while in women it is signified by delayed orgasm. It is more common in women than man.
Here are the different types of anorgasmia and the symptoms associated with them:
It happens when you have never faced an orgasm ever in your life.
It happens when you used to have orgasm but face difficulty in experiencing climax.
It happens when you face orgasm occasionally or under certain situations.
It happens when you fail to experience orgasm in any of the situation or condition.
Causes of Anorgasmia
• Medication- Certain blood pressure medications and over-the-counter medications may cause anorgasmia.
• Medical issues- Diseases like diabetes, neurological diseases like multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, spinal chord injury or any hormonal issues may cause anorgasmia.
• Gynecologic issues- Cancer surgeries, difficult childbirth or any other gynecologic surgery may affect the orgasm
• Excessive consumption of drugs and alcohol
• Relationship problems
• Performance anxiety
• Pregnancy failure
• Past sexual abuses
