Just like skin reflects your inner health, your hair also gives out the condition of your health. Here are some foods which provide those all-too-necessary nutrients for healthy hair.
Salmon, mackerel, sardines are fishes which consist fair amounts of the much-needed omega-3 fatty acids. They play a major role in bringing that shine to your hair.
2. Greek Yogurt:
Vitamin B5 and proteins are present in large amounts in yogurt and both of them help in growing hair, especially in the scalp, by providing better blood circulation.
Vitamin A, C, carotene, folate and iron are some of the many nutrients present in spinach, which moisturize your hair and prevent breakage.
A guava has almost four times the vitamin C than the required amount for your hair. This helps in preventing breakage of hair.
5. Cereal Fortified with Iron:
Soybean, beef, lentils and shellfish have plenty of iron. And a meal combining such foods practically fortify you against hair loss.
6. Chicken and Turkey:
Choose leaner poultry (chicken or turkey) which have lesser saturated fats than beef or pork and makes your hair thicker.
7. Sweet Potatoes:
Beta Carotine in sweet potatoes is converted by the body into Vitamin A, which prevents dry hair.
Cinnamon is beneficial as it improves blood circulation.
Eggs have biotin, which help in hair growth and strengthening brittle fingernails.
Oysters have zinc which help in giving fullness to your hair.
