A highly consuming way of life directly affects your libido. Your sex life is heavily dependent on your psychological and biological health. Again, your biological health depends on the kind of diet you take on a regular basis. Things that you consider healthy might actually deter you from feeling desirous. Try and maintain a safe distance from the following items to improve your sex life.

1. Soy products are not healthy for your sex life: If you are a vegan you must be having a lot of soy products. Soy can create hormonal imbalances as it contains Phytoestrogens that are very similar to the secondary sex hormones produced in women.

2. Chocolate is bad for desire: Chocolate may lower your testosterone levels when consumed in huge quantities. Females eating too much of chocolate may feel weariness that further decreases their sex drive. This happens because chocolate contains Methylxanthines.

3. Processed food decreases your libido: Any kind of packaged or processed food is bad for your sex drive. Processed food deprives a person of whole grains; as a result you tend to lack in nutrition. Having white bread regularly can affect a male’s libido as it is deficient in zinc. Zinc is extremely important for male sexuality. Deli meats can act as impediments too. It is advised to consume meat that is directly purchased from the butcher.

4. Coffee can lead to infrequent sex: There are people who can be allergic to coffee. Men who tend to feel nervous or anxious on drinking coffee can also experience erectile dysfunction. Caffeine sensitivity is quite common.

Take Time to Meditate and Relieve Stress-

No matter how healthy you are, being stressed out is going to affect your sex drive. Women are particularly susceptible to the effects stress can have on one’s sex life.

Men, on the other hand, sometimes use sex to relieve stress. And sometimes differences in the approach to sex may cause conflict.

To relieve stress, participate in sports activities, practice tai chi, take a yoga class, involve in morning meditation.
