Uncontrollable diabetes in male patients leads to erectile dysfunction at times. Men experiencing diabetes are prone to the risk of impotence or erectile dysfunction. The fact is revealed that men without erectile dysfunction are easily noticed as this being the basic human instinct. One among the 10, may experience the severity of the erectile dysfunction for a longer period whereas others may experience it for a shorter while. It can even lead to cardiovascular disease.

Erectile Dysfunction or impotence is the sign of failure in the intimate relationship dysfunction. This is a sign of erection incapability that leads to the satisfactory level I the personal level of intimacy with their partner.

Hydraulic effect is useful in impelling the erection. It occurs when the blood enters the sponge bodies in the male organ and retains it. Now the brain transmits the signal to nerve the male organ is the signal receiving device. Here ED occurs when erection faces difficulties.

  • Alcoholism
  • Medications
  • Smoking
  • Poor health
  • Testosterone at low levels
  • Stress

The causes of erectile dysfunction are due to psychological and physical factors. Erectile dysfunction due to physical factor may occur for months or years and it results in gradual loss of the function whereas ED due to Psychological factor may happen in the morning or night always. ED also affects the men who are prone to larger hours of cycling.

Diabetes and Erectile Dysfunction

The reason for the ED is not clear. It may be like the higher level of diabetes leads to damage in the nerves and circulation. Thus controls the blood flow to the male organ.

Treatment-

Reducing the blood glucose level will reduce the problem normally. Ensure the blood flow for the male organ through a test. Hormonal problems can be defined through diagnostic test. You have to diagnose and make it clear with your physician whether you are affected by physical factor of psychological factor. Based on the factor for cause the disease could be treated in two ways…

  • Physically affected- medications, surgery and vacuum devices
  • Psychologically affected – behavioral therapy and counseling
